Our Trauma-Informed Care Approach

We are committed to providing care that is safe and centered around the needs of survivors.

We understand that healing from sexual abuse and sexual violence is deeply personal. Our approach ensures that every individual is treated with dignity and compassion at every stage of their journey.

Survivor Choice

We believe that healing should never take away your power, it should restore it.
You have the right to make decisions about your care, including:

  • Whether or not to seek support
  • What kind of support you receive
  • How fast or slow your healing process goes
We do not make decisions for you. We walk alongside you as you choose what feels right for your healing.

No Pressure to Disclose

You are not required to share your story before you are ready.
We understand that talking about your experience can be difficult. You are free to:

  • Share as much or as little as you want
  • Take your time before opening up
  • Change your mind at any point
Your comfort and emotional safety come first.

Consent at Every Stage

Consent is at the heart of everything we do.
Before any form of support or service, we ensure that you:

  • Understand what to expect
  • Have the opportunity to ask questions
You have the right to say no, pause, or stop at any time. Your voice matters in every step of the process.

Respect for Spiritual and Cultural Backgrounds

We recognize that faith and culture can shape how survivors experience and process trauma.
Our care is:

  • Respectful of your spiritual journey.
  • Free from judgment or blame
  • Sensitive to cultural values while prioritizing your safety and well-being

Faith-based support is available but not required.
You are welcome here exactly as you are.
